Southern black women are vulnerable to HIV.

The EMPOWERED WOMEN initiative aims to engage women in successful HIV prevention efforts. By addressing a wide range of topics and issues, this initiative aims to create a comprehensive hub of information and support.

The initiative is informed by the voices of black southern women, particularly those living in Louisiana, and includes unique features such as incentivized HIV prevention and policy education, connection to resources, and access to a community of other EMPOWERED WOMEN.

The content includes HIV prevention education & articles, asccess to HIV prevention resources and clinicians, voter registration and policy information, and more.
